MARK S. FRANKEL is a shareholder of the firm. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1988 and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit in 1989. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. He is certified as a Mediator for the Oakland County Circuit and Probate Courts. He serves as a trustee, conservator, guardian and personal representative by appointment of the Oakland County Probate Court.

Mr. Frankel received his B.S. from Oakland University in 1983 and his J.D. from Wayne State University in 1988.

Mr. Frankel’s memberships include Oakland/Livingston Legal Aid Private Attorney Involvement Program and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s Pro Bono Program, providing free legal services to the indigent. He is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Corporate Litigation, Bankruptcy, Probate Law and Commercial Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. He is a board member for the Citizens Alliance to the Oakland Count Probate and Circuit Courts. He serves as a member of the Oakland County Circuit Court’s Bench Bar Conference. He is a Master with the Oakland County Inns of Court, mentoring new lawyers. He is a past board member of Bloomfield Youth Guidance.

Mr. Frankel's primary concentration areas include Complex Probate Litigation, Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights, Commercial and Business Law, Real Estate and Commercial Litigation. He is the head of the Firm’s Probate Litigation Department.
