Monica D. Moons is of counsel to the firm. She was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1995.

She received her B.A. (cum laude) from Lawrence Technological University in 1991 and her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 1995.

Ms. Moons is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust and Taxation sections of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. Ms. Moons is also a member of the Probate Estates and Trusts Committee of the Oakland County Bar Association.

She has been a frequent lecturer on the subject of estate planning and administration on behalf of the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, the Legal Assistants Association of Michigan, Lorman Education Services, Professional Education Systems, Inc., the National Business Institute, and at various financial planning seminars.

Ms. Moons' primary concentration areas include estate planning, estate and trust administration, tax planning, probate and tax litigation and real estate.
