LISA J. WALTERS is a shareholder of the firm. She was admitted to the Michigan State Bar and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan in 1989. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1986 and her J.D. from Wayne State University in 1989. She is a past president of the Detroit Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (2005-2006). She is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit, Inc. She is a frequent lecturer. Her professional memberships include the State Bar of Michigan and the American Bar Association. She is a member of Women Exchanging Business, a not-for-profit business networking and educational group of women business owners.
