CYNTHIA L. M. JOHNSON is a shareholder of the firm. She was admitted to the Michigan State Bar in 1984. She received her B.A. Degree in 1973 and her M.P.H. in 1975 from the University of Michigan before receiving her J.D., cum laude, from Detroit College of Law in 1984.
She was a law clerk to Michigan Supreme Court, Justice Dennis Archer in 1986-87 and to Michigan Court of Appeals, Judge Walter Cynar in 1985. Ms. Johnson is the author of "Covenants Not To Compete" in the Michigan Bar Journal.
She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, American Bar Association, Detroit Bar Association, Wolverine Bar Association and the National Bar Association.
Ms. Johnson's primary concentration areas include Health Care and Corporate Law and Commercial Litigation.
She is among the first certified mediators in the State of Michigan. Few attorneys in Michigan can offer this specialized service.
Ms. Johnson was selected for inclusion on the American Arbitration Association commercial arbitrator's list in December 2002. She is available to serve as a certified mediator in general civil cases and as an arbitrator in commercial matters.
